Dropping a Blog

Greetings, loyal minions!

I suppose some explanation is in order. I set out with good intent, really. I had hoped to have a semi-regular posting schedule here. So what happened? You guessed it. Writers block. In a big way. It's been semi-fixed, so here we go.

This first post ought to establish some ground rules, right? OK. So let me NOT apologize in advance for being a democrat with a small "d". I believe that the power ought to lie with the people. So... I will feel free to express my opinions as I see fit on this blog. You can do the same, but don't be surprised if I mock your pathetic little attempts at thinking freely. Some of you will succeed, most will not. That's OK, not everybody can do it.

If you disagree with me, do so respectfully. I'll do the same. If you object on religious grounds, that's fine, but you better be able to offer verifiable (As in scientific!) proof. Otherwise, I'll assume you're making it up. If your objection is political, you're a fucking idiot. In general, I subscribe to the theory that politics are the means by which insignificant men become important to other insignificant men. If you're a Republican or Democrat, you're the reason this country is in the shitty state it is. Let's try a little moderation, shall we? If you're a Teabagger, just shoot yourself now, and save me the trouble. Having Sarah Palin as your political inspiration is a good sign that you just need to jump off a bridge or something. I am a Libertarian, my opinion is that everybody should just mind their own business.

So, with that said, remember that this is MY playground, and you are here under MY rules. Respectful disagreement is encouraged, but on this blog, my word is law.

The First One.

So this is it. My very first blog post. After much hinting around by a lot of people, I've decided to start one of these things. Let's see what happens, shall we?
